Fashion Fail - So Close and Yet So Far

Submitted by: dunno source via Submission Page

Really? Is THIS what passes for runway accessorizing these days? Strapping a damn shoe from the Ross bargain bin to the top of your head?

What’s next? Pushing one of those shopping carts with the big vertical poles down the catwalk? Bringing your four screaming children with you? Modeling the clothes on disinterested customer service people who are not at all helpful?

Incorrect source or offensive?

Well, that’s the only way I could walk wearing that high a heel.

  7. Dr Techie says:

Shoe worn as hat already done years ago in Terry Gilliam’s “Brazil”. Old stuff.

  8. Twisted Sister says:

Apparently some designers find haute couture just as confusing as the rest of us do–so much so, that they can’t even put clothing on the correct body parts anymore.

  9. Bride of Shrek says:

Seriously, why would anyone ever aspire to be a model. You have to starve yourself, develop a nasty cocaine habit, lead a life of vampire-like hours and still some asshole dresses you like a complete freak with a goddamn shoe on your head.

It’d have to be some fucked up society that still, for all this, paid you the big bucks…oh wait…

  10. Bride of Shrek says:

Seriously though come on..how could you keep that pissed off, “who cut one”, look that all models seem to cultivate. I’d be wetting myself laughing if some idiot demanded I strap this clobber to my head.

    • STRAWBERRIEZ says:

why do models always look so mad? is it the heels or the ugly clothes? how can this woman not laugh at the footwear on her head? What if it was an old used shoe? EWWW!!!!!

  11. Bride of Shrek says:

I do realise I’ve just started the last 2 posts with “seriously”. This is ironic in that I’m not serious at all. Not ever. Hardly.

  12. Rynne says:

It looks like something Lady Gaga would wear.

  13. Surrealist says:

I don’t want to spoil the fun, but actually I think it’s a reference to Dalí and other surrealists:

  19. Sendai Merida says:

That must be a size 19 1/2 drag queen shoe. The strap is too busy, she should have used a large rubber band instead.

That is the foot of Xoanon.
